What you can book.

Single services, or a care pathway booked as one thing. Each part is routed to the right kind of place: scanning to a scanning centre, physiology to a physiology suite.

What it is

One medical picture, wherever the athlete plays.

knexusport is a sports imaging and athlete medical platform. Book a scan, a blood profile or physiology testing across a live network, get it reported by a specialist, and keep every result in one record that follows the athlete, not the fixture list.

01 · Book

Book in minutes

Self-refer for an MRI, or book bloods, physiology and performance testing. Scanning goes to a scanning centre, physiology to a physiology suite. Price shown upfront.

02 · Report

Reported by a specialist

Images are read by a specialist radiologist. Reports route to whoever should receive them, including a clinician you nominate in advance.

03 · Keep

Held in one record

Every scan, test and report sits in one athlete record, consent-led, and travels with them between club, country and tournament.

VO2 max is the most oxygen your body can use at full effort, in millilitres per kilo per minute. It is one of the best single markers of aerobic fitness. Higher is generally better, and a rising trend across tests means your aerobic base is improving. Yours is up from 49 to 58 since July. Read it alongside your training load and bloods, not on its own.

Men's RWC 2027 squad.

RugbyContact sport

This is your called-up squad, the same kind of squad view a club doctor works from, for the tournament. The difference is ownership: each record is held by the player's domestic club until it transfers to you for the tournament window. Each card shows whether the record has transferred, the handover from the domestic team doctor, and the player's file once it is in. Records revert to the club when the window closes.

HIA & concussion monitoring

Instrumented mouthguard alerts and the World Rugby head injury pathway, for the tournament window

When on, a head acceleration event above threshold from any called-up player's instrumented mouthguard triggers the HIA pathway and is logged against their tournament record, bridged in via Apple Health. The match-day doctor can open any player's HIA record pitchside.

Tournament services directory

Find local services.

If you are a visiting international team, build a directory of local services around your fixtures. Pick a tournament and its host cities, or set up a friendly, series or tour and add the cities yourself. We pull together local medical and diagnostic services around each venue. Contacts are curated, consented and email-only, the same model we ran for the Women's Rugby World Cup.

What you can book.

The full directory across imaging, bloods and physiology. Every entry books in a couple of taps. Prices are indicative and set per service.

What to expect

Before you come in.

A few honest answers about what actually happens at an appointment, from arriving to getting your results.

Do I need a GP referral?
For an MRI you can self-refer, no letter needed, and a clinician reviews and justifies the scan as part of the process. CT, DEXA, CTCA and prostate imaging are clinician justified. If you do have a GP letter for an MRI, upload it and the price is lower.
What happens when I arrive for a scan?
You check in at reception, finish any remaining safety screening and change if needed. The radiographer talks you through the scan before it starts. Most MRI appointments take 20 to 45 minutes depending on the area.
Is an MRI safe, and what is the safety screening?
MRI uses no ionising radiation. The screening checks for anything that should not go near a strong magnet, such as certain implants or metal. It applies whether you self-refer or bring a letter, and if anything needs a closer look a clinician reviews it before your appointment.
How do I give a blood sample?
Two ways. A home finger-prick kit posted to you with freepost return, or a venous draw at a clinic near you. Bloods are fulfilled by an accredited pathology partner and reported by a GP.
What is a physiology session like?
Held at a university performance suite. Expect treadmill or bike work for VO2 max and lactate threshold, plus any strength or movement testing you have booked. Wear training kit. Sessions usually run 60 to 90 minutes.
When do I get my results?
Everything lands in your account. Imaging is released to you only after a clinician has reviewed it, so you are never left to interpret a scan alone. Blood and physiology results come back with plain-English context.
What if something needs a follow-up?
A specialist is a tap away. From your results you can book a clinician review or the right specialist directly, and the whole pathway stays coordinated in one place. Not sure where to start? Book a free 15-minute consultation.

For clubs: CQC-aligned, honestly

Most sports clubs are not registered with the Care Quality Commission, and whether registration is needed depends on the regulated activities involved. We do not claim certification. What we provide is CQC-aligned governance, built on established frameworks, and support to be ready if and when registration applies. We would rather be straight about this than overstate it.

Terms of Use & Privacy Notice.

Knexusport is operated by KNEXU SPORT LIMITED (company number 14757721), registered at 148 The Rose Bowl, Portland Crescent, Leeds, England, LS1 3HB. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Data protection contact: hello@knexu.co.uk. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.

Part A — Privacy Notice

The data we hold

Identity & contact (name, date of birth, sex at birth, email, phone, and where provided your NHS number and sport); health data as special category (imaging reports and results, clinical reports, consultation notes, physiology and performance measurements); booking & payment records — card details are handled entirely by Stripe and never reach our servers; account & MFA identity; and an append-only usage/audit log that cannot be edited or deleted.

Why we can process it

Health data is processed on the basis of your explicit consent (UK GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)) and, where applicable, the provision of health care (Art. 9(2)(h)). Other data is processed to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)), to meet legal obligations such as financial-record retention (Art. 6(1)(c)), and for limited legitimate interests such as securing the platform (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out, or records we must retain by law.

How your record is held and who can see it

Your record is yours. Access by anyone else is a time-boxed grant against it, never ownership of it. Your domestic club's medical team holds your record while you are with them; on call-up, access transfers to the national team for the tournament window and reverts automatically when the window closes. Every grant has a scope and an expiry, and every access is logged. We never sell your data and do not use your health data for advertising.

Who we share it with, and our sub-processors

Partners delivering your booking (imaging, physiology, pathology) under a data processing agreement; your club or national-team medical staff strictly per the grants above; Stripe for payment (booking and payment data, not your clinical record); and authorities only where legally required. Our sub-processors are: Clerk (sign-in/MFA, United States); Supabase (database & file storage, UK/EU region); Vercel (hosting, United States); Stripe (payments, UK/EU); Resend / Microsoft 365 (transactional email, US/EU); and imaging & physiology partners (United Kingdom).

Your clinical record is held in a UK/EU region. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA (for example our identity and hosting providers), the transfer is protected by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

Clinical and imaging records: the standard minimum for medical records — 8 years after your last interaction for adults; for under-18s, until the individual's 25th birthday (or 8 years, if longer). Booking, invoice and financial records: 6 years, to meet tax and company-law obligations. Erasure requests are honoured except where we are legally required to retain specific records, and are logged as a controlled process.

How we protect it

Encryption in transit and at rest; enforced multi-factor authentication on every account; grant-first access control enforced in the database query itself, so a record cannot be returned to anyone without a live grant; an append-only audit trail; strict security headers and a Content-Security-Policy; a same-origin API; and rate limiting on sign-in and payment endpoints. Card data is out of scope for us entirely (Stripe, PCI DSS SAQ-A).

Our data-protection assessment (DPIA)

Because the platform processes special-category health data, we have carried out a Data Protection Impact Assessment (completed April 2026) covering the risks of this processing and the measures that reduce them. Its conclusions are reflected in this notice; a summary is available to you or to the ICO on request.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent — contact hello@knexu.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children and young athletes

For athletes under 18, consent is given by a parent or guardian; we verify the guardian relationship at sign-up and record consent against the guardian's account. It remains in force until the athlete reaches 18, when the athlete is asked to consent in their own right.

Cookies

We use only the cookies necessary to sign you in and keep the platform secure — no advertising or non-essential tracking. If that changes we will add a consent banner first.

Part B — Terms of Use

Your account and security

Multi-factor authentication is required. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in and second factor secure, and for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

The service

Knexusport lets you book imaging, physiology and pathology services, and holds the resulting records. Knexusport is the principal and merchant of record on every booking, including partner-delivered ones; partners are paid out by us, never paid by you directly.

Medical disclaimer

Knexusport is not an emergency service and does not provide diagnosis through the platform. Results and reports are produced and interpreted by qualified clinicians and your medical team; clinical responsibility sits with the treating clinician or partner, not the platform. If you have an urgent medical concern, contact 999, or NHS 111, or your team doctor.

Payments, cancellations and refunds

Prices are shown before you book, in pounds sterling, and are the total payable. KNEXU SPORT LIMITED is not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is charged. Payment is taken through Stripe; we do not see or store your card details. You may cancel and receive a full refund up to 48 hours before your appointment; cancellations within 48 hours, and missed appointments, are non-refundable because the partner slot is by then committed. Where a booking cannot be delivered due to a partner or platform fault, you are refunded in full.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access records you have no grant for, interfere with the platform's security, or misuse another person's data. Access is grant-based and every action is logged.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Clinical responsibility for the interpretation and delivery of a scan or test rests with the treating clinician or partner, not the platform. Subject to the above, our total liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid for the booking to which the claim relates.

Termination & governing law

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms or where required for safety or legal reasons; records we must retain by law are kept even after an account closes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

Reports pipeline

Report triage

Every report arrives by email or PDF and is matched to one exact booking by its reference, never by name. A clean match is released to the athlete. Anything unmatched or low-confidence is held here for a person to check first.
